What is the index Strike Table? The Index Strike Table enables you to see many key metrics across the current complex at a glance, filtered by strike price for the upcoming options expiration. This table helps answer where the most options impact will be exerted on upcoming stock movements. Specifically, the columns break out, by strike, the calls, puts, gamma notional and delta notional value, and gamma notional and delta notional absolute value. You can get good insights from looking at specific strikes. At SpotGamma, we tend to look for strikes which have more than 20pct of Deltas or Gammas expiring. In general, these can be turning points, where more puts are expiring can be a short term bottom and more calls expiring can be a short term market top. Together, with other charts and graphs across the Indices page, this chart helps paint a picture of where support and resistance exist and helps you manage your exposures. SpotGamma Subscribers can access this chart for the SPX, SPY, NDX, QQQ, RUT and IWM. Related articles SpotGamma SPX Key Levels Statistics What is the Options Risk Reversal index chart?
